Users that register on our website; we store the personal information you provide in the users registration, login profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Our purpose; is to provide social services that allow you to find, enjoy, and share content. Your display name, username, profile photo, about me section, and contacts (i.e., followers and following) will always be viewable and/or searchable by other User (subscribers). A visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string is collected to help spam detection. A Users comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

To communicate with you; We provide you with updates and other information relating to our Services, provide information that you request, respond to comments and questions, and otherwise provide customer support; To send you text messages and push notifications; To facilitate transactions, redemptions, and payments; To verify your identity and determine your eligibility to join our network;

3rd Party Gravatar; An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media; If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Embedded content from other websites; Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. Those websites may have collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Our Services are hosted electronically; therefore we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information or content.

We do not knowingly collect; maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 years of age. Our platform is not directed to children. Our Sites are hosted in the United States and intended for users (subscribers) located within the United States, others may be filtered by IP address.

At the Alexandria Project we build tools to give you greater control over the information you receive and the information you share on line. We strive to collect only what we need to improve our platform for everyone. We also adhere to the practices outlined in the Mozilla privacy policy for how we receive, handle and share information that we collect from our users.
